The Vizsla, or Hungarian pointer, is a member of the Sporting Group of dogs. The medium-sized hunting dog has a short-haired coat that typically is golden or rust in color. The energetic breed has a sleek and muscular build without being stocky. The Vizsla is a good family dog and trustworthy companion. However, the breed does require attention and a great deal of physical activity.
