The Shih Tzu is a small but hardy dog toy breed. The breed has a distinctive
double coat - long hair with a short wooly undercoat. The coat coloration can
include white, tan, brown, gray and black. Living up to its history in Chinese
nobility, the Shih Tzu can be arrogant and aloof. With its happy, friendly and
outgoing manner, the Shih Tzu makes a very good companion and house dog.
