With a Designer Series Woven Moments throw kit, you can create your own personalized cat tapestry throw. Design a woven throw featuring your furry friend that will be treasured for years to come. You customize various aspects of your throw to complement your cat's image and to suit your home's decor.
In addition to selecting the picture of your cat to be featured in the throw, you customize the other design features, such as:
Background Motif - Select one of six background motifs featuring different hues and patterns.
Caption (optional) - Add a caption directly above your cat's image. Select from several prepared captions, such as "Our Pet," "In Memory" or tailor your own 18-character caption.
Sentiment (optional) - Add a sentimental quotation in the lower right side of the throw. Choose from several prepared quotations or craft your own sentiment.
Personalization (optional) - Further personalize your throw with your cat's name or dates directly below your pet's image.
Using your cat's photo and the design elements that you submit, master weavers will create a beautiful custom throw. Your personalized tapestry throw will be woven thread by thread on a jacquard loom, not printed.
To create your very own personalized cat tapestry photo blanket, simply purchase a Designer Series Woven Moments kit online. Your kit will arrive via UPS in approximately two weeks. The kit contains easy-to-follow instructions for submitting your favorite picture and throw design (but not the throw).
As detailed in the instructions, you may submit your picture in one of three ways: mail a copy of an actual photograph, mail a CD containing a digital image or upload a digital image via the web. (A special mailing envelope is included in the kit should you elect to submit a photo or CD by mail. Please note that mailed photos and CDs are not returned. Photographs that appear to be taken by a professional photographer or studio cannot be used without a signed release.)
After you have submitted your photo or digital image, your personalized cat tapestry throw will arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. The blanket is shipped, at no additional charge, to the address you provide when submitting your photo. (In that way, you may receive the kit and design the throw but elect to have the finished throw sent to someone else.)
Please keep in mind although great care is given in selecting yarn colors to match your photo, variations will occur. A woven tapestry image is less precise that an actual photographic image.
The dimensions of each of the background sections will be adjusted to accommodate the vertical or horizontal orientation of your pet's picture. The Designer Series Woven Moments throw is made of 100% cotton and is proudly woven in America. The woven throw measures 50 by 60 inches.
