The Golden Retriever is a medium-sized dog breed. They have a dense water-repellent lustrous golden coat with rough feathering fur on the back of the forelegs and on the underbody. Being of the sporting class of dogs, Goldens are excellent retrievers and love to swim. They are very social dogs with a friendly, reliable and outgoing nature.
